Meet the Owner
Hi, my name is Tia, owner and director of Little Lionz Childcare. It started on a quiet afternoon, sitting on my couch and petting my cat — my little lion — thinking about how I could work from home and still be there for my family. As a mom and a working professional, I know how stressful it can be to find childcare you can really trust. I wanted something that gave both kids and parents a sense of comfort and peace of mind.
That small moment of inspiration turned into a big dream: creating a warm, home-based space where children feel safe, loved, and free to explore. I wanted a place where learning happens naturally through play, curiosity is celebrated, and every little personality is nurtured.
At Little Lionz, it’s about more than childcare — it’s about building confidence, kindness, and curiosity in a small, caring community. Watching children grow, laugh, and find their own little “roar” is what makes this work so meaningful to me every single day
