Meet the Owner

 

Hi, my name is Tia, owner and director of Little Lionz Childcare. It started on a quiet afternoon, sitting on my couch and petting my cat — my little lion — thinking about how I could work from home and still be there for my family. As a mom and a working professional, I know how stressful it can be to find childcare you can really trust. I wanted something that gave both kids and parents a sense of comfort and peace of mind.

 

That small moment of inspiration turned into a big dream: creating a warm, home-based space where children feel safe, loved, and free to explore. I wanted a place where learning happens naturally through play, curiosity is celebrated, and every little personality is nurtured.

 

At Little Lionz, it’s about more than childcare — it’s about building confidence, kindness, and curiosity in a small, caring community. Watching children grow, laugh, and find their own little “roar” is what makes this work so meaningful to me every single day

Sherry is a proud grandmother to five beautiful grandchildren, and her love for children shines through in everything she does. With a deep passion for quality childcare, she brings warmth, creativity, and dedication to every child in her care.

Artistic and imaginative, Sherry loves incorporating fun, hands-on activities that spark curiosity and learning. Beyond her work at Little Lionz Childcare, she is committed to giving back to her family and making a positive impact in the lives of other families around her.

Sherry is an invaluable part of the Little Lionz family — always ready with a smile, a helping hand, and encouragement for every little lion to grow and thrive

Hi! I’m Mose, the water-loving cat who inspired Little Lionz Childcare.  Along with putting my head under running water, I love to play with anything and everyone

Calm and comforting, Sal loves to be near children, offering a soft purr and a reassuring presence whenever it’s needed.

Our big snuggler 

Romeo is our big-hearted snuggle bug — a true lover boy, which is how he got his name! He keeps everyone entertained with his playful antics.
